An 18-yr.-old teen abortion client -- who assumed  that since abortion in America is legal, it must be safe -- was taken by rental car (not an ambulance) to a hospital for repair of a perforated uterus and lacerated bowel.

Sometimes warnings about the risks of abortion fall on deaf ears because people want to believe that such information took place years ago, is exaggerated, or politically "spun."
